The attraction is clear. Legal teams spend enormous time searching documents, comparing clauses, preparing chronologies and turning large files into usable summaries. AI can reduce that first-pass burden.

Why this is bigger than faster drafting

The important shift is from a chatbot that waits for a question to an agent that can work through a multi-step process. That could mean locating relevant material, organising it, producing a draft and routing the result for review.
