CreativeVerse: Revisiting the City of Tomorrow, One Year On

On 11 September 2025, I created three songs for CreativeVerse. Today, one year later, I am bringing those beginnings together on MaryChuks.com.

After revisiting Emerald Skies, it is time to return to CreativeVerse—the track preserved in my video collection as CreativeVerse City of tomorrow. My original Facebook post from that day names the track simply CreativeVerse and credits the lyrics to me, Mary Oge Chuks.

A creative world begins with its people

One of the video’s opening images shows two people working together at a table surrounded by luminous digital displays. Across the scene appears the credit “Lyrics by Mary Oge Chuks.” It brings authorship, collaboration and imagined technology into the same frame.

For this anniversary, that image offers a useful way into the work. A city of tomorrow begins as an idea people explore. Before its buildings and systems can become a story, someone must imagine what happens there and who shares that world.

Music offers another way to enter that imagination. The audience can encounter the atmosphere through a song and a visual sequence before reading a longer explanation of the concept.

Three songs from one creative day

Knowing that CreativeVerse, Emerald Skies and CreativeVerse Futuristic Defence came from the same day gives this return a special meaning. They belong together in the record of how I introduced CreativeVerse.

The Facebook memory dated 11 September 2025 also preserves the production credit: Music Video Produced by Mary Oge Chuks TV. Bringing the video here keeps that work accessible alongside the newer ideas on this website.
