At sunset, Aramu authorises a controlled communications interruption. AIDA announces the drill, then withdraws from household-level coordination. Local batteries hold essential loads. Water storage continues. Physical controls remain available. Residents use the printed and offline guides they received during training.
The purpose is not to dramatise failure. It is to prevent invisible dependence. A community that can operate only while one intelligence is present does not fully own its infrastructure.
Who repairs the robots?
Builder robots return to a local maintenance bay where human technicians inspect wear, update permitted routines and quarantine unexpected behaviour. Components come from approved suppliers in the Scaler Queen startup and research marketplace. Procurement records remain available to the community council.
Robots are not residents’ masters or disposable servants. They are high-value tools inside a system of human responsibility. The people who deploy them must understand their limits, maintain them and accept accountability for their actions.
The final handover
Aruaia places two objects on the table: a physical emergency key and a community charter. Aramu transfers the operational dashboard to the elected residents’ council. AIDA confirms that construction privileges have expired.
Only then does the status change from BUILT to INHABITED—not as a label on a machine, but as a shared human decision.
The promise of Scaler Queen City Builders is not that robots can make people passive. It is that automation can compress the hardest physical work while returning time, safety and decision-making to a community. The 72-hour build is impressive. The human handover is what makes it legitimate.
