These options need to be maintained alongside the main content so that versions do not drift apart.

Offline capability has costs and privacy considerations, particularly where information remains on a shared device. Choose support that fits the task and describe its limits. A modest, reliable way to continue can be more useful than a broad promise that disappears with the signal.
