The Presidency on Sunday attacked former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, saying he is part of the rot the nation has become.
The presidency was reacting to comments made by Atiku over huge cases of unemployment in Nigeria and for saying that Nigeria is fast degenerating to a failed state.
PDP rejoices over its landslide victory in House of Reps bye-election
The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has expressed joy over its landslide victory in Saturday’s Aba North/South Federal Constituency be-election.
In a statement issued on Sunday in Abuja by its National Publicity Secretary, Mr Kola Ologbondiyan, the party stated that the victory had far-reaching implications.
The Presidency has said President Muhammadu Buhari never promised to make one naira equivalent to one dollar.Femi Adesina, a presidential spokesman, described the claim as fake and false.

Ohanaeze Insists On Igbo Presidency
The apex Igbo socio-cultural organisation, Ohanaeze Ndigbo, has insisted that the principles of zoning must be applied ahead of the 2023 general elections to ensure that the South East produced the president of the country
The organisation frowned at those rejecting zoning, saying if the zoning principle is to be jettisoned, it should be after Ndigbo had taken a shot at the presidency.
In a communiqué issued at the end of the meeting of Ohanaeze Ndigbo Elders’ Council in Owerri, the council mandated the Ohanaeze leadership to work with other ethnic groups to pursue the objective and urged all Ndigbo with the needed capacity to show interest in the 2023 presidency.
