When not in the studio, I am a design enthusiast, sucker for good packaging design, and self-proclaimed perfectionist who enjoys exploring, wearing stripes, and nesting.
‘Paper Engineer’ would have been my childhood dream job if I had known it existed. In any case, it would have been a close second to professional Ballerina. I’ve been a maker since I can remember, from folding origami penguins and cutting paper doll chains as a child to graduating from my Textile Surface Design Degree in 2011 with a graduate collection of paper jewellery and now spending my days buried under paper in my studio in Nottingham.
