Senator Bayo Salami, who represented Osun Central in the Senate between 1999 and 2003 has passed away.
The Osogbo-born politician, it was learnt, died in the United States of America after a brief illness.
Salami, who was elected on the platform of the Alliance for Democracy, it was gathered, had been in the US since March last year.
His legislative aide while in the Senate, Smallette Alamu, declined to confirm the development when contacted by our correspondent, but a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress in the state, who preferred not to be named, confirmed the passage of the late parliamentarian.

Well as humanbeing i sympathize with his family, may his soul rest in peace if he has done good things on Earth. The Bible says their work do follow them, am not judging him o but Nigerian politicians in paradise! Well I am not God Sha. RIP anyway.
