Planetary and astrological baby names are expected to become a well-established trend after Ed Sheeran and Cherry Seaborn reportedly named their second kid Jupiter.

Ed and Cherry are not the first famous people to name their children after objects in the solar system.

Chrissy Teigen and John Legend have a kid named Luna (the Roman goddess of the Moon), and Ashley Tisdale also has a child named Jupiter. Scarlett Johansson and Colin Jost named their child Cosmo (like the cosmos, get it?).

Although you could write these off as eccentric celebrity choices, the celestial name craze is starting to spread to regular people.

Luna surged up to position two in the girls’ baby name rankings this year from position 11, Mars has increased by 300 percent since 2013, and in recent weeks, searches for baby names like Saturn and Comet have increased.

All of this suggests that you might want to consider astrology and astronomy for your child’s name if you want to be ahead of the curve.

Below are some suggestions that don’t quite work as baby names due to certain planets, moons, and star signs (we’re looking at you, Uranus and Cancer).
