Instagram users all over the world have reported problems accessing their profiles.
The Meta-owned social network says it is “looking into” the issue, which has resulted in some users being told they have been suspended from the platform.
According to DownDetector, which monitors site outages, thousands of users are affected.
Some have received a message stating that their account has been suspended for 30 days.
“We’re aware that some of you are having issues accessing your Instagram account,” said the official Instagram Communications account in a tweet.
“We’re investigating it and apologize for any inconvenience.”
