Nantes in France is home to Jardin des Plantes, one of the ten major parks.

Jardin des plantes is a seven-hectare botanical garden, it contains 5,000 distinct types of flowers and about 10,000 different species. The park draws a lot of tourists in addition to its huge greenhouses and magnificent sculptures.
The magical topiary sculpture of a napping chick is one of the most well-known pieces of artwork.

The sculpture “Poussin Endormi”, which means “sleeping bird” depicts a massive baby bird napping comfortably in the middle of a lovely garden. A French children’s book author and artist named Claude Ponti created the sculpture, which was shown in the garden in 2014. The baby bird’s lovely bamboo legs and beak were the finishing touches that made this great artwork more attractive to tourist from different part of the world.
