Megane Tokei Ito is a clock and eye glasses store owned by Hisashi Ito in Japan. But in his spare time, he makes use of his expertise in device repair to recycle scrap into fantastical animal sculptures. These one-of-a-kind pieces of artwork create insects, frogs, cats, and other creatures out of scrap metal and plastic.
In order to give his shop a distinctive aesthetic and to channel his many imaginative ideas, Ito started making miniature sculptures in 2015.
