According to the government’s most recent national cyber danger report, cybercrime continues to pose the greatest threat to Canadians.
The report also notes that the biggest strategic cyber danger to the nation continues to come from state-sponsored cyber initiatives in China, Russia, Iran, and North Korea.
Critical infrastructure continues to be a top target for both state-sponsored and cybercriminal actors.
It is a component of the revised National Cyber Threat Assessment that the Canadian Center for Cyber Security, a division of the Communications Security Establishment, of the federal government, released today (CSE).
