A young woman born without arms demonstrates how she drives her car in a series of YouTube videos that she posted in an effort to convince potential employers that her disability is not a barrier.
Miss Tisha Shelton, also known online as Tisha Unarmed, uses a modified vehicle equipped with a variety of special features, such as a left foot accelerator, a turn knob on the steering wheel, and a voice command computer box that manages features like the horn and turn signal.
Special controls in the headrest also enable her to operate the steering wheel with her right foot while using her left to operate the pedals.
The graphic design graduate also shared films of herself making and eating a peanut butter and jelly sandwich, applying cosmetics, taking a shower, getting dressed, and driving her car. She lives alone with her dog Jack.
